I am wondering if any of this fantastic forum family know of a forum for those of us with adopted house rabbits. I am worried about mine but cannot take him to the vet under current conditions as its nothing specific that would be classed as an emergency. He does not want to come out of his own house. Normally he has freedom of my living room when I get home from work and hops around happily. He is quite sleepy and usually likes his head stroked but is not currently interested. He's been moulting for at least 8 weeks which again seems longer than normal. He has been living with me for 3 years now but I don't know his exact age, he could be around 6 or 7. Any advice greatfully received. Yes, I do have to go out to work as I am an NHS worker, but not on the front line.

With rabbits often hiding their illnesses well I would say he sound be seen by a vet.
An older rabbit who is listless and not his normal outgoing self could be suffering from a number of problems which really need prompt diagnosis and treatment.
I am assuming you have a vet that you usually use for routine stuff like vaccinations etc. so I would call them and explain your concerns.
I would be very surprised if an experienced rabbit vet wouldn't take your concerns very seriously, and offer you an appointment.

Thank you Kate and Swissgreys I will take your advice.. Sorry for late reply I've had one of those hectic weeks :(
