My Husband Built Us New Runs!

My fab hubby built these runs! If anyone looking for wood Wickes was a fraction of the price of B&Q and Homebase. You get packs of 8 pieces for £10-£12 depending on length. Needed £34 worth of wood for 2 runs and lids.

Big one is 5' by 6' and the other is 4' square. Plan is to leave doors of hutches open when they are out there to let them go in and out as they please.image.webpimage.webp image.webp Both have lids with strong snap hooks for security and easy removal.

Oooooh lucky you! These are the sorts of runs I would like to have for outdoor playtime. Unfortunately can't find any to buy here in OZ or a 'handy hubby' to build one!
 
Thanks everyone, I'm thrilled! My husband came to bed last night, smirked and said "So are you happy now with your guinea pig 'Palaces'?" I guess we're not even pretending the piggies are for the kids anymore . (Although they love them too!)

Also I watched him get his bike to go to work out the window today and I saw him put the most energetic one into his new run! He likes them too...
 
Great stuff! Talented man your hubby, I daren't even attempt it :))
