My darling husband is it seems really allergic to danny and dodger:(

if he picks them up and they scratch him a little he comes up in hives which is manageable-no problem.
but he is also wheezing like crazy since we brought them indoors.his face goes bright red and his breathing is terrible .

i have wooden floors/leather sofas etc so no fabrics for hair to get caught in. the cage is cleaned every day. i hoover everyday etc.

any advice for us please?

You may have to consider having them back outside again; because otherwise your hubby has to take medication regularly.

I am very sorry for the two of you - Danny and Dodger were so happy indoors. You will have to be careful accustoming them to the outdoors again.

What a shame. I'm allergic to my Mimsis fur. Not on the scale that your OH is, but I do scratch and itch after I have handled him. If your OHs breathing is affected then as much as you dont want to, you may have to house them outside.

Yes they will have to go back outside. Do you have a shed or garage?

If it was my OH, I would keep the pigs inside and get rid of him cos he is doing my head in at the moment but you seem to care for yours ;) so just keep them cosy somewhere out of the house. :)

personally id move hubby into the shed! after all hes the one with the problem the piggies arent allergic to him!ha ha sorry I'm not helpful and you can tell I'm single :))

Anti Histemines, Anti allergy medications, I don't have the weezing thing, but I have a skin allergy, so whenever I touch the guinea pigs I come up in hives, where they scratch me. I take Anti histemines, it still happens but they don't itch...

It could be the hay that is making him wheeze. You could try changing to orchard grass as it's less dusty than timothy or meadow. And use fleece for bedding to cut down on allergens.
