On Saturday at 7.45am he started sorting out the big shed for me and believe me it was no easy task. He had to first put up a gazebo and take everything out - there was a HUGE amount of stuff to come out.

Then he had to fix the roof which was bowing in. He then insulated ALL of itincluding the floor and put up walls and a ceiling in. He then painted it for me and put worktops in there to put cages on.

This took right through until Sunday night about 10pm.

Then last night the minute he walked through the door he sorted out the stuff in the gazebo and totally downsized to fit everthing in my old shed before making me another 2 x 2 c&c so I could bring the boys in from the hutch to the shed.

I have to say the amount of work he did just for the rescue this weekend is completely amazing. He's such a good guy!

I do miss him though and don't want him to do any more work like that for ages - I would like to get to speak to him too.

Just had to share how proud I am!

Wow, that seems like some task...well done to him! Mine didn't even make me a cuppa this morning rolleyes...although he has just got back from working nights so I suppose I can forgive him. :))

BIG HUG to your hubby - he has my admiration!

Big cheers for your hubby from me - I'm seriously impressed! As well as being a great bloke to do something big like that for his missus he's made room for more recsue piggies - YAY!

Wow, what a guy and well done him.

Although there are a few of this rear breed around. My foster home husband, knocked down his shed, to build her a "Twice the size shed". He is now in the process of building built in hutches. Her rabbits have the length of one side, with a draw bridge "Cat Flap". The flap is for access to the run outside.

I evicted my Fiancee out of his Garage. Which he stored his Motorbike in. I have breeder blocks for most of my rescues. However, my Fiancee drives the length and breath of Britton with me, collecting and dropping off piggy's. He goes to the farm shop and buys 40kg of food every week. He has to go cos I can't lift this amount. He also drives to the farm to collect our hay by the bale. Along with the trips to the dump to dispose of the waste. I can drive, but he likes me to be safe, driving around the country. I'm thinking of upgrading him to husband status!

Bunny.

What a great hubby:)) Do you hire him out? Or perhaps he can give lessons to other men?

It has taken my OH over a month to decorate our (rather small) hall... and it still isn't finished:x

He sounds great!:) Mine wont even do the weeding or put his crisp packets in the bin! grrrr!

Well done Hubby, do you hire him out for odd-shed-clearing-jobs I've got a couple that need sorting out, and one would make a lovely piggy shed.
I've dropped a few hints to my OH but he hasn't bitten so far, I'll keep working on him he-he-he

I will take photos. It's all a mish mash of cages in there right now but I'll be getting big blocks built very soon (although not for a few weeks as I still need to see him for a little while!)

It was much better - yesterday 5 members of the same family came to see pigs and it would never have worked in my old shed but it DID work in the new one.

It's so much better i'm over the moon!

Bumped up as today the blocks get built! YIPPEEEE I'm over the moon.

Hubby is out at the tip getting rid of the rest of the stuff and then he's going to b&q and then home to build them. It's going to be so much neater / flexible etc. Can't wait!

what do you mean I miss him?
and I would like to speak to him?

I mean that he's been out in the shed non stop or putting down a floor or doing other things. He's been so busy that family stuff and couples stuff has come to a standstill.

Although as it's not been every night now for the last week we have caught up a bit.

Awwww such a fabulous husband, and what a lovely new shed for the piggies too :)

Deffo 1 to hang onto!:)) my BF is a :reasons why we can't man!:(:))
