My Last Piggie Mocha Has Died

hi my sole remaining piggie mocha has passed, she was eating as normal and when i went to give her her fav dandelion i got no response she was in her bed with her back to me. as i went to stroke her fur she felt so stiff i picked my little piggie up and cried..
she was 6 years old and some months.. and she weighed 2kgs ..
her partner honey died last year please remember her in your prayers,
you are now at peace my lovely one. re united in spirit with honey rip..
 
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's the end of an era when your last piggy passes. However it sounds like she lived to a good old age. Popcorn free Mocha x

I am so sorry for your loss. Mocha lived to a good age and by all accounts had a very gentle death and did not suffer.

But it is always very difficult for those around when a beloved one passes away suddenly and unexpectedly, as they have got both the shock and the grieving process to deal with at the same time. :(

Thanks to all who have sent their kind wishes yes it is a very sad time, and an end of a fantastic era, an era of unconditional love and very happy times whilst I have had the honour and privilege to have such lovely pets as part of my family,
They will never be forgotten but greatly missed

Yes thanks for the post, I have a lifetime of memories from all of my piggies over the years.. still miss them all, still think of them every day,. And I see their resting places every day .
 
that's lovely. not takin away your grief. I'm pickin up Pedro's ashes after work. So sad cos we do so love our piggies. x. keep strong pal

Thanks. I so want to bury him with my cat. Gertrude but it's not possible now. I don't want Pedro to be alone. Christ we miss him.
 
We love our pets and rightly so they become a part of our family But when they pass it's unbelievable how much we miss them, it does not matter if it's a mouse or a elephant they still are our loved ones,
Hope you and your family have a smooth burial or resting place for your piggie and the loss gets easier but of course never ever forgotten

Thank you. our grief has been eased with people like yourself who shared and help with post on this forum. You all have a massive grattude form me and Kath.
 
Hi I have had four pigs all were female my first one I rescued from my son as he had two and one died so I took the one of him I bought a five foot cage on wheels in door one, and all the basic equipment, so I bought a second pig a baby from pets at home . They got on well. When the big one died at about the age of four I bought another one from pets at home . When one died at five I bought my last one from pets at home they both lived till 5 and half and ,4 and half
I have now got rid of all the equipment and cage, so I will not be having anymore piggies,. However I have two dogs to keep me on my toes, both bitches. One is 14 called barnie and one called Zoe who is 12

hi pal. we think about 6. he was a bloody hero. had a bad very start to life. lives in a nursey and was poked and prodded by kids. long story we kidnapped him and last 2 nearly 3 years he had run of the house. I didn't realize how much I loved him. he was a star cute.
