and I miss them so much.

The cage wasn't quite finished needed a wee bit of tweeking so the whole front top piece raised, but the girls moved right in while we waited for the fabricator (hubby) to finish the job. They also didn't have all their furniture moved in at this time either *lol*

Sorry for the pic overload but I loved them so much and miss them dearly. Can't have anymore as our wee doggie is allergic to them, I have wondered if he'd have the same problem with a Skinny pig but can't take the risk, be quite the thing if he could I'd love to have piggies again.

Thank you for the lovely photos of your girls. They look like they had a very happy spoilt time with you.
I love there cage its look fantastic and your piggys are very cute too. :p

What lovely girls! No wonder that you are missing them so much! :(:(:(

I love the pic with the tug of war and the referee in the middle! x)

Thanks, they were spoilt rotten indeed :))
As for the cage I managed to persuade (read badger) hubby into making it, all I had to do was visit a few B&Q's and get enough cubes to make it :(|)

They are little sweethearts. The cage looks fab. Lovely photos..

Awww they are beautiful x)
The cage is great too - what did you use for the base?

The base was a huge sheet of correx type sheeting which I ordered off ebay to fit perfectly. It works a treat as it's waterproof and can be disinfected. It isn't rigid enough without a solid floor to lie on as I only got the 2mm thick one and it wasn't massively expensive.

We used the mesh grids as the floor in ours and that helped.

Can I ask about the stand? Where did that come from?

That whole cage was made out of the cube squares so that gave it the rigidity for the correx to sit on.

Again the Stand was fabricated by my hubby it was some stuff that was left over from a project he did previously, I said I wanted the cage at a good height for being able to see the piggies and keep them out of any drafts, so he did it for me, the cage sits on the stand the whole thing folds down for storage it's currently in the garage looking flat packed till I can have more wee piggies!

Did I mention my hubby is a gem?

I think if he wanted he could make a career making cages like that that is a fab cage! oh and the piggies are lovely

My hubby's pretty handy but couldn't even think about how to make a stand for a C&C so we bought a cage stand combo for the 3 of them.

He's making a platform on wheels for the huge c&c though to raise it up a bit and make it easier to move about. But your stand is amazing, it would have been just what I wanted for the trio I have.

To be honest I dread to think what I would have ended up with if he hadn't had the extruded aluminium to make that stand it's as light as a feather thank goodness. He did draw the line at castors though! *lol*
