My Latest Creation

I'm quite proud of this one, it's a definite improvement on my last attempt at a cushion. It's the second ever creation that I've made using my new mini sewing machine. I tried a new stitch type today, zigzag, how exciting! There's still loads of mistakes, but I'm learning. My mum helped me to stitch the seem as I didn't have a clue how to do that, but the rest I did myself.

I'll keep practicing and who knows maybe I'll be able to sell some sewn piggy themed creations too on my Etsy shop. I might donate it if there's ever a forum event.

Thanks everyone, I feel like I'm slowly getting better at it and more confident with the machine the more I practice. I just enjoy making things, it keeps me busy, it's always good to have a hobby I think.

When I get better I'd like to have a go at patchwork Guinea pig cushions and possibly throws (blankets) if I ever get that good. We'll see.
