My latest needle felted venture, I'm quite pleased with it, it's the first time I've done proper moveable wire hands and feet and made a much larger size pig.

I'm going to sell him along with the Easter basket pictured to make an alternative Easter gift. If anyone is interested he'll be listed on my Etsy shop Piggylicious in due course. :D

Thanks, I just hope that my next one will be similar, I always end up making one then the next one looks nothing like it LOL.

Wow that's a stunner! You've captured the look and that wonderful piggy expression perfectly :) x

Well done! I've tried needle felting and it isn't easy at all. Looks smashing.

Thank you kindly. I know I thought it was just all about stabbing a piece of wool or I my case my fingers lol, but turns out you have to do a bit more than just that. The wire feet and hands were ridiculously difficult to do, my fingers were aching afterwards. :p

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I might start the other one later. :D

Is it bad that I thought that was a real piggy for a split second:mal:

Incredibly talented!

Thank you very much :) I can't decide whether to do a black or a dark browny/grey piggy next? Hmm decisions, decisions ...

Wow! He looks massive. How big is he? How long did it take to melt. Loving the feet. Great detail Sarah.

Cheers, he's 16cm / 6 inches long approx and 7cm / 2.5 inches wide approx. He completely fills up your palm when you lay your hand flat and sit him on top. He's firm felted, so not spongy, but more solid like a toy. I spent most of Sunday afternoon and Monday early afternoon making him, so probably about 5- 6 hours approximately? I'm not sure. Those feet were devils to do, so fiddly and awkward, but at least they are bendy and adjustable.
