Junior Guinea Pig
Sorry thie may be a bit of a long post, I have a lovely boy who i adopted of here over 2 years ago he is called Whizzer, when i first had him he had suffered from some kind of brain injury and would spin in stressful situations and didnt always have control of his body but he is now much better, BUT this evening i have discovered a lump just behind his front leg its about the size of a small grape he seems to have been itching as his fur has thinned out it that area he doesnt seem to like me messing with it, it isnt solid but it is not soft either.
Now this is the problem Whizzer cant really be stressed out so not sure how he would cope with a trip to the vet, I have been told that he would not survive a GA so a op is out of the question, He is now about 4 years old.
Do you think i should take him to the vets and hope that the stress isnt to much for him.
Does any one know what this lump may be? I dont think it is a absess but i will take another look at it later to see if it could be a bite from his brother but i dont think so as they have never had a fight.
