my little floss has changed

I don't know if anyone can help me but for the past couple of days floss has been getting quite nasty. Shes fine with candy (her piggy friend) but no so nice with me :-(
 
Normally when I go to get her out of her cage she runs away but then lets me pick her up. However the last couple of days she's been running away but when I go to pick her up she kicks and kind of goes backwards, she's hasn't gone to bite me. I'm very new to guinea pigs and don't want to stress her out, I love her and don't want her to hate me x
 
I suspect she let you pick her up before out of fear but know she feels brave enough to show she does not want to be picked up. Guinea pigs never like to be picked up as they are prey animals and they see it as danger but once held they can enjoy it. Just carry on as you are going to get her used to you. She may prefer to be picked up in a tunnel or cosy rather then your hands.
 
Ok thanks for the help, hope she gets a little more friendly. She's still young as well between 11-12 weeks old x
