My little man is very poorly!

I cannot believe it. You must be so upset. I am so you must be a million times worse. :(

The thought of losing him makes me feel psychically sick but I'm thankful that he chose me and Pebbles to live with. He's very lucky that we have had such a good support network to get him over the bad times. He's had 6 months longer than what he should have had which is far more than most pigs.

He is the most remarkable little guinea pig, he's a true trooper and I know he's a fighter as long as his body is physically able he'll make it, if it's not he'll just have to be with me forever in every memory I have.

The only thing I can wish, is if he doe's leave it's quick and as painless as possible he doesn't deserve to suffer.

He might be on death's door but that doesn't stop him looking after his appearance!

Fairly new to forum and dont know of Patrick but its obvious how much everyone loves him.

Just back from vets myself with Alfie his kidney has got infection so I'm feeling tearful and now reading your thread its made me cry.

Sending our best wishes for your little trooper, I hope all is well tomorrow and he pulls through xxxxxx xoxo
 
Oh Jo how upsetting, I don't think you'll be getting much sleep until we all know one way or another.

Oh heck, total lump in the throat now, you must be beside yourself with worry, I'm so sorry you can't be with him in person tonight but I know he will be on your mind all night so I would just like to say I am thinking of you and have everything crossed, it shows such devotion that you can let him go if he needs to xx

I'm so sorry to hear this. Fingers and paws crossed that his fighting spirit pulls him through.
If you weren't so dedicated to him given his previous problems, he may not have made it so far. He is so lucky to have you.
It's going to be difficult whatever you do but you know you will have done your very best for him.

I've only just caught up this evening, and am weeping for Patrick. I promised I'd wear my Patrick badge for him, and I am. Jo knows how special he is to me. You've been the most amazing mum to him, Jo - I've never known anyone to fight so hard for their piggie - and although he's had troubled times, he's had a wonderful life with you.

I'm praying for the outcome we all want tomorrow, but if it's not to be then none of us will ever forget Patrick. My heart goes out to you right now - your love for him (and of course all your piggies) shines through every post you make.
 
I hope all goes well tomorrow. I empathise I too have a sick piggie. We are just so devoted to them that we want them to fight but either way I hope he is pain free soon.

Just caught up with the thread since this afternoon. Want to send you and Patrick all our love and thoughts. You are both very brave.

Oh hunny, your post has brought back huge gulping tears! :( Patrick is such a loved, and adored piggie on this forum, his pigtures light up anyones day good or bad.

I'll be thinking of you and Patrick tonight and pray that you and your special little man get the outcome you want tomorrow.

Oh my.

Like many here I'm catching up. I'm so sorry for everything that has happened. I do hope patrick is ok for you, him, and everyone here. We're all rooting for him, he's become for the unofficial forum mascot in reality. Hope I'm allowed to say that but that's what it feels like.

Straight back to this thread tonight in the hope of some positive news. Jo, your post made me tearful knowing what you're going through. I have had three piggies suffer with bladder problems and your posts regarding Patrick helped me through some darkest hours.

I really hope tomorrow brings some good news. Thinking of you and your little man xxxxxx
 
I just had a surprise phone call from the vet, to say he went into feed Patrick but there's no need he's up and about eating himself and has gained 120 grams.

The vet said Patrick has very good odd's providing his bloods are all good!
