Thank you. It was very tragic. But I guess I know she isn't suffering anymore an the babies didn't deserve to die either. Yes he is the one that got her pregnant. When I bought him 3 months ago, he was supposed to be a girl. 3 weeks afterwards I figured out he was not a girl. Immediately separated them and had him neutered. So it didn't take long for her to get pregnant. I never meant for her to get pregnant. He is neutered now and has problems with infections ever since..which was almost 2 months ago I had him fixed. But he is getting better. Slowly but surely. He is a tough little guy!

I am sorry you and the piggies had to go through that. I hope you are alright? I hope you will be able to find another guinea pig for your remaining piggie. x

Oh poor little girl for having to go through that. I am so sorry for your loss. Lil boy is so cute.
Thank you guys. Lil boy is a mess- think ill take him in to be checked tomorrow- gotta get him better and I'll let him pick out a friend. I had gotten so excited about the babies. Even bought them and their mom matching beds.i keep thinking maybe I should've held off on tw surgery so we could have more time or waited, let her have babies then her have surgery and maybe she would've recovered more easily but I guess I have to keep in mind the vet gave me all the possibilities and said that mocha needed the surgery or if we waited it may get worse. So in my heart I know I did the right thing and what I thot to be best for her. But I still have those thought of what if....I still walk by her cage an almost say her name then I remember that she isnt no longer here. Thank * guys for all ** kind words.
