I have talked a lot about my herd of piggies so I took a wee heap of photos while they were out nibbling the grass and relaxing today :(|)

This was a general group shot, they were all very taken by the grass!

So there you have it my stunning herd of pigs, all of them are from Becklen or Sokel (apart from Boddicea) and we adore them all.

WOW!

I recognise them all! :)) (apart from Boddicea)

I do miss Sophie and Sylvester but seeing them so happy and content with you makes it all so much easier :)

We have been so blessed in getting them, all the pigs get on well together and Sylvester is such a laid back cuddly boy. Sophie is one of the more dominant ladies and along with Mavis and Boddicea is quick to let us know when more fresh food is required!

aww, they are gorgeous girlies. Sylvester sure is one lucky boy! x)

I don't think he could quite believe his luck! He came to use with dusty and sophie who he already adored and then he was given another 6 ladies to spend time with!

Lovely piggies! We have 4 sows and 1 boar (soon to be castrated), but unfortunately we cannot keep all the girls together as they make it very clear that they don't want any extra additions to their pair. So we are having to keep the females in 2 pairs:(
How did you introduce all your piggies to each other so that they could live in the beautiful herd they are in now? We have tried lots of different tactics to get them together, baby powder on their bums, bathing them, putting them on neutral territory, cleaning the large cage and putting them all in together. We are at our wits ends an are desperate to try and get them together before the castrated boar goes in to harmonise them all. Any advice would be brilliant! Thanks. x

They look fantastic. It is so wonderful to see them all together as I know you have had them in dribs and drabs and what a fantastic herd you have now. Sylvie will always have a spot in my heart. Bless him - what a lucky lad he is.

Thank you so much C for taking rescues.

Hello

We used the not very scientific method of putting them all in a giant space with lots of veg! They all got on straight away (apart from sylvester being a bit too forward). In fact they have not had any squabbles to speak of!

Avril looks so shy in her photo. They are all stunning!

Aw they're gorgeous, it's such a credit to you to own such a big happy healthy herd of piggies.
Grace is my favourite :)) She has a kind of black beauty thing goin on

") Oh you are all too kind! I may be biased but they are all fabulous x)
