My lovely Ziggy sadly passed away last Thursday, he was only 18 months old and hadn't shown any signs of illness. He passed away with his head in the food bowl (!), with his brother Pigeon standing guard over him.

Sleep tight Ziggy, sorry you couldn't stay longer.

So sorry to hear about this handsome boy. That is so moving that his companion was keeping guard. Run free at Rainbow bridge beautiful Ziggy and popcorn free in those lush green meadows. Watch over your mummy and Pidgeon who are missing you very very much.. Look for that extra bright star twinkling in the sky and know that Ziggy is sending down piggy kisses from Rainbow Bridge...
 
Oh Sophie, poor little Ziggy, what a stunning chap - but what a way to go. Sending hugs, it's always a shock when you lose them so young.:(

I'm so sorry for your loss Sophie. But what a way to go, with your head in the food bowl, that's the way every piggie would like to go! It must have been quick and unexpected even for him, which must be of some comfort to you though. How's Pigeon bearing up?

Poor Sophie - it's so sad to lose one so young! It must be a consolation, though, that he has been granted such a great way to go!

I'm sending you a BIG HUG and Pigeon an extra cuddle! Hopefully, you can find him a lovely new friend soon!

thats realy eiry my zigyy rabbit passed away on sunday he was only 19 months old and there was no cause of death. sorry about your loss
 
Thank you everyone. Pigeon is surprisingly cheerful, he was a bit off for a day or so but is now back to his normal self and I'll be finding a new friend for him soon :)

So sorry you lost Ziggy :( but perhaps you can take some comfort from the fact that he didn't suffer at all.

Hope Pigeon finds a new friend soon.
