She looks it & can well imagine she's left a big hole in your lives :( - she's striking & huge, how big was she?

WOW until i read your post i didn't realise they could be kept as pets. So sorry for your loss :'(

What an amazing pic tho, please tell us more about her character etc...

hi, Missy really ruled the house, she was the one in charge, shed soon get stroppy and ignore you if things didnt go her way ( she would walk upstairs to the bathroom to get in to the bath and if it wasn't full of warm water....oooo you knew about it.lol guess that was one of the many reasons i loved her so much.Iguanas are another pet that seem to get in the wrong household alot of ppl get them just for the look and dont realise how much time and money is needed to keep them correctly but they do make very rewarding pets, infact she was more like a child. LOL She was about 4 ft of body and the tail twice as long and before she became ill she was a good eater so alittle on the chubby side.( like her owner ;D ) She spent most of her time laid across the back of my settee on her blanket watching the tele, or sat on my little boys knee, shes scared acouple of people in the past who didnt realise she was real but she was a big softy even when we were going to the vets every day for injections, she never went to bite or strike with her tail. A Brave girl.

Gosh i could just imagine walking into your place sitting down and OMG she's alive :D :o

Do you think one day you may get another Iguana? I didn't realise how much work, but then as you said if you really
want to take care of any of your pets you must put in the work and time, which we all love eh :)

Thanks for talking about her, RIP Missy your mummy misses you lots :'(

I think ill probably get another but id rescue one as there are so many that havent been cared for properly... my youngest boy is now 18 months old so rather than introduce anew iguana that might not be used to children I'm going to wait till he gets to the age where he understands. Both my boys ( the other is 5) have grown up around her and she had grown up around them so even though they were never left alone and always supervised, it seemed that she understood. She had a very special soul. :)
