My new additions arrived last night as planned, and they've been settling in since. I took them all outside for a while earlier to try and snap some photos, but they some of them are quite wriggly so these may not be the best!

First we have Clooney, who is a neutered boar. He has a scarred lip (thanks to his boyish fighting) which is fully healed and rather adorable! You can just see how it sticks out in the photo. He is very calm and lovely, and great to cuddle. He gets on fantastically with his ladies.

Then we have the three sisters, in order they are: Paris, Penelope and Priscilla. They are black, buff and white Peruvians. They have changed SO much from when I first went to visit them, mainly their hair is now long and thick and they all have fat bellies! Donna has done a great job with them. These photos are awful and don't do them any justice, but they have been quite nervous since they got here so I'll be able to get better pictures soon!

Then there is Skunk, and she is a very special piggy. You can see Skunky's original thread here. She is still fairly quiet, and has a sad face. She is one heck of a picky eater too! But she is gradually coming around and is soo pretty. You can't see it here but she has the craziest hair. She's a stunner.

The final piggy from Donna doesn't have a name yet, although I am thinking of Twinkle or something similarly girly and pretty. She is Skunky's friend and they're adorable together! She is really calm and relaxed, she just likes to lie down on a big pile of hay and have a snooze.

So I stopped at six.
Right?
Right?
Did I heck!

I was in my feed shop and the woman there knows I take in rescued piggies and showed me a lovely sow who had been taken in because they had just got bored of her. They think she is about 11 months old, although if she is, she's tiny and underweight - I'd hazard a guess and say she's only 6-8 months old. She had sad eyes and had been on her own for all her life; she's now happily munching on some hay snuggled up to Clooney. She is so sweet natured and deserved a happy ending too..I am thinking of Jasmine for this little girl?

Name suggestions are welcome for my two unnamed sows :)

Wow that's a fantastic bunch of pigs. I love the ladies with the crazy hair! Perfect names for all of them. I hope they all settle in really well and I look forward to seeing more pictures and hearing about their antics! x

beautiful piggies xoxo I am trying to talk my bf in to letting me rescue another one he he he :(|)

OMG, Jasmine...she is so sweet, there is no way I could have walked away from that little red head either. The others look amazing too, you're so lucky, it's a big guinea family! It takes me ages to decide on names and I have been known to change them up to a month later if I find one that suits them better. :red thank goodness I don't have 'real' kids...I think Dixie is quite a cute name.

Gorgeous, all of them. The perus look like Lucy in my Avatar. How many mouths have you got to feed now then? xx

glad you got them all home safe and sound :) looking forward to seeing more pics of them once they've settled down :)
thanks for giving them another chance, i know they will be loved and spoilt rotten with you xx

AWWW - what a great bunch!

I love that little ginger girl! She is such a little sweetie!

What about Squirrel to go with skunk - there is a little pertness in there. Or Sunshine?

(PS: If you should ever tire of Clooney, can I have him? PLEASE!)

These sure are some gorgeous girlies Tracy, I'm so jealous, I love peruvians!

I think the names you said are very suitable, specially Jasmine xx

The Peru sisters aren't happy with me AT all, they were grumpy and acted like I wanted to kill them when I tried to have a cuddle earlier LOL. But I am sure they will soon settle down and Skunk is doing well with her friend :)

Still not sure about names, so I'll see what else I think of!

Thank you all for the compliments x

They are all adoreablex) I cant wait to hear how they settle into their new forever home with you. There are some wacky hairstyles going on with some of those piggies. Fabbb!
