My new arrivals, arriving on Friday, Lola on the left, she's 12 weeks old, and Angel on the right, she's just over 12 month old. I knew I'd grind the wife down eventually to let me have some more. ;)

Hi and welcome to your gorgeous girls!

I tried them in the pen with my boy for 30 minutes. Barty had been slightly subdued since Bella died a few weeks ago. The transformation was amazing. There were squeals and squeaks and loads of wheeks as they chased and nudged each other round the garden. Angel is a little quiet at the moment as she has come from a home with noisy children. Lola is a little cutie and came up to me straight away and ate a piece of cucumber from my fingers so I think she'll settle in no problem. Bart seems to be over the moon and the girls seem happy to be round him. :)

You can see the difference in sizes with this picture. Bart is nearly twice the size of Angel!

Beautiful girls! Bart will be a happy lad.....

How did you persuade the wife to let you have more? Share the secret.... I have 2 boys but really want another pair or trio. She thinks we haven't got enough hugs to go round. I disagree...

The niece came round offering us the 2 youngest from her herd as she was downsizing. I just said to the wife, "there you go, that'll do for my birthday present", she said, "go on then" and then there was 3! They're coming with their own hutch, so they don't have to share with Bart but I'll put both hutches at right angles so they can chatter away to each other. ;)

Are you not going to bond them and keep them together then?

I will be, Bart lives with a bunny, i'm in the process of finding a hutch mate for the rabbit and then i'll bond them seperately. They've lived together for over 2 years and are very close. After reading on here about how they shouldn't live together, i'm going to part them once Bart has bonded.

Well the girls are here, I've got them in their hutch to get used to their new surroundings, I'll get some more photos once they've settled in. ;)

Do you know what, I take my hat off to you for having the guts to admit you had second thoughts and learnt from what people said.

It takes a lot to admit you may have been wrong (I should know, I hate it :red)

I hope the bonding goes well, the girls are very lovely :)

ill second that, great stuff ;)

The piggles are lovely, I'm so jealous x

The girls are settling in nicely, Angel is still very skittish and hides a lot. Lola is a cheeky madam who is into everything, she follows Barty round like a lost sheep. That's when she isn't eating! They've come from a house with a concrete yard and now they have the run of a massive pen with plenty of lush grass to munch on. Betty bunny is running up and down the wondering why she can't get in her pen. She's ok with Barty as she's grown up with him, but i'm not taking that risk with the 2 girls.

The tribe have now retired for the evening and the pen has been swept out ready for tomorrows play time. I removed a full dustpan of small medium and large poop pellets (Lola, Angel and Bart) so they're all eating fine. Just a few pics of today's play time, as the girls get more used to me, I'll be able to get some better ones.

Aw congratulations theyre gawjus! And I bet Bart is loving having all that female attention. What a lovely piggie family you have :(|)

Bart has a face like a big teddy bear, you cant help but fall in love with him, the moment you see him. All 3 of them are huddled together in the pen munching on the grass. It was funny as anything earlier on. Bart was his his usual lazy piggy self, he was lying in his scramble pipe on his side with his head sticking out eating the grass. Lola came along and lay in the pipe next to him and copied him, occasionally looking over as to seek his approval that she was like him! :)):)):))
