Oh Joanne! Another rescue skinny! And Douglas is a fab baby too. What's their story?

OMG x) drool
Absolutely gorgeous xx>>>
Can we ask their story :...

They are litter mates! They came to me as they were an unexpected litter and the owner was very careful to make sure they wouldn't be bred from. So they are now being spoilt to bits with me in my living room. Its amazing the level of care a skinny pig needs though!

Suzy, I'm going to be hounding you for advice about skinnies! Duncan is the first one I have had in over 22 years of piggydom. :)

Awwwww wow.... they are both absolutely gorgeous x) x)
Sherbet says her favourite thing, being a skinny, is her heat pads...
x

I have a heat mat under one side of the cage, which keeps the temperature constant and cozy. :) Duncan is also massaged every day with some fab gentle moisturiser from Gorgeous Guinea's. :)) He is only just short of 400g but boy can he eat!

Wow Joanne, they are lovely. Do you keep them on fleece or other bedding?

Don't worrie too much about special treatment for the skinny... :))
I have one aswell... Had her a few months now...
They need to eat more.. Poop more... WAY noisier...!
As long as he's kept nice and warm and bedded onsomething like vet bed... And moisturise him every now and then...
He'll be happy and healthy... :))
Don't worrie about taking him out of the cage and him getting cold... My skinny runs round the garden happily... Just in small doses...
x

Oh my goodness they are both gorgeous! You have a fab new mummy boys. Douglas looks like he's a right little character :) x)

I have them on fleece at the moment as their vet bed is in the wash! :)) They have soft tunnels and cozy snuggle sacs and Douglas loves cardboard tubes as he is a super fast piggy and loves nothing more than popcorning through tunnels!

They love the cozy fleece lap pad that I have put aside for them rolleyes

:)):)):)) There are many rescued piggies that come in who I would happily adopt myself! But common sense takes over sadly. I love them all as I would my own, thats my only guilty pleasure. :)

Wooweeeeee! Look at the pair of them! Not what i was expecting to see :))! So pleased the owner had some sense and Duncan is not going to be bred from, what lucky piggies to have found you as their slave! x)
