While at the vet last week with the dogs for a routine check, the Vet Amalie asked us if we could help her out, She had a little guinea pig that needed a home, someone had dropped it off to be PTS, but there was nothing wrong with it, He was 2nd born in a litter of 4 with the other 3 being stillborn, the mother had passed away about a week after his birth and the owner didn't know what to do, Amalie said she would try and find a home, Enter me.. this little cherub weighed 95g and was a little fuzzy black thing with brown smudges, of course i took him home, we named him lucky fish, I had no single boars so figured once he was old enough I'd have him neutered and he could live with my old girls...Last night couldn't sleep and was browsing the free ad site for the English in France and came across a boar needing a home, the family were off back to the UK and couldn't take him with them, So i emailed and went to meet him today, I'm sad to say his fourth owner, the previously family have had him 2 months, before them the owner before found him left in her new home by the previous owner of the house, he's a little timid but once you have him, he likes a small cuddle, before nudging me with his nose , i guess to let me know he's has enough, they called him fifty but I've renamed him nifty as he's super zoomie, i'm at the vet on Friday so will take him for a once over just to be safe, he weighs 890g, they think hes about a year but not sure , needless to say he found a home with us, some pics of this mornings bonding session...

Hope the bonding continues to go well, they are both gorgeous. Congratulations. I have made you photos bigger for you.

Oh those poor piggies. It is so lucky you have rescued them both, they are beautiful.
