Timmy and Silver have new friends , two of Milly's babies, Petal and Dahlia.
Silver wouldn't accept any adult sows previously, but accepted the 2 babies with no problem.
Dahlia particularly likes Timmy and follows him aroundView attachment 29013

Too cute! Petal and Dahlia have certainly landed on their feet!

My dominant Essylt would also not get on with any of my other groups, but she happily accepted the TEAS triplets and later the Potteries orphan; she has actually rather calmed down being a real matriarch and is no longer squabbling with her own daughter all the time.

I also found it interesting how each of the triplets would attach herself to one of the adults, but it was mainly Bedo, the husboar, who in my case took on the nursemaid duties. I so loved seeing all three bounding after him during roaming time!

The babies certainly liven them all up, its wonderful to see them all bouncing around at tea time. I love bigger groups of piggies of varying ages, its how it should be for them.

Yeah, it is why I have ended up with so many! Babies in a group are always fun! Every few years I "treat" myself to some that then can grow up together as it should be in a real piggy group.

i have been in love with these two little girls since you first posted a pic of them! i wanted them sooo badly but realistically knew i couldn't take on anymore right now. so glad they're staying with you and will look forward to seeing more pics and watching them grow :luv::luv::luv:

Yes, l got so stressed d making sure all the homes were good enough for the babies, that l ran out of energy so decided to take the easy option. Silver is over 4 years old now and l wanted to make sure Timmy still had friends in the future. I am so glad l have kept them as they are special girls. Scrapper and Frankie are still waiting for the very very special home they need!

@pig in the city They look like a super group! I am not totally surprised that some of the babies stayed with you;). Hope things have calmed down a little bit and you can enjoy your new group?
Now I have got through the latest medical crisis with my boars, I had better be planning another boar dating trip down to you?

That's good news Lauraboara. So glad that things have settled down. All the baby boars have been rehomed or reserved ( except for Frankie and scrapper who are still getting on well) l have Colin's Uncle, Alfie here now, did you meet him before? He is about a year old or less. Otherwise there is Rocky and Milky, both are 2 and a half. I look forward to hearing from you, l am able to do the boar dating if you wish now my numbers are down!
