My new herd huspig... and a couple of surprises!

Those of you that saw Joanne's (milhaven) thread about Lester probably guessed that I was the one that reserved him... and today I went to go and meet the handsome little devil! Needless to say he definitely came home with me and is now a part of my very large piggy family! He's now in with my girls as part of the herd after a bit of drama at introduction time but now he is very happily chilling with his new wifepigs! He's more of a hit with the younger ladies at the moment, but I'm sure my more mature ladies will be caught snuggling up with him in no time!

For the two new surprises... the hint is in the middle picture above (behind Lester!). Yup, my family now has a couple of adorable baby girls! It just so happened that these two were just ready to go when meeting Lester so, obviously, I had to meet them too! They.Are.BEAUTIES. They were born just before christmas and are appropriately named Mistletoe (the red and white baby) and Sugarplum (the mostly white with brown and black on her face and bum).

Sugarplum is going to be affectionately known as Sugarplump at the moment as she's quite a bit bigger than her sister - she clearly likes her food! Both are just adorable little ladies and I've already seen a few popcorns from them both which is the cutest thing!

Massive thank you, Joanne, for letting me welcome three more lovely Milhaven piggies to my family!

Awww, lovely pics of the girls. :) So pleased that Lester seems to be settling into herd life so well, he must think he's landed in heaven with all those lovely ladies! rolleyes

What a lucky boy Lester is with his new friends and share your excitement as we successfully bonded a little boy yesterday with our girls looking for their huspig xoxo After months of dreaming of finding the right piggy, we found him seven weeks ago today and he came home finally to his three wifey's and they have hit it off :rose
The babies are just so precious and who could resist ;)
Takes your numbers up as well I believe, people think I'm nuts having 19 piggies and can still never rule out more...:x

Oh i'm so jealous! :)) They are all absolutely beautiful! Will the girls be joining the herd eventually?

I sure hope so! They met the herd at the same time as Lester, but due to Mistletoe's size I've decided that they're going to stay indoors with me for the next few weeks while she catches up a bit. I've no fears about them not integrating - they're brave little lasses! Just with the cold and what have you, we're going to wait for a relatively mild (the shed's heated but any extra warmth we can get for them to settle into would be nice) weekend when they're a little bit bigger before I let them loose in there!
