The humans finally finished my new cage liner, and I just had to show it off! I get mine first and Lexa has to wait because the humans are "assessing" or something before making more ... I'm not really sure what that means, but they were saying something about fit, washing, and quilting. Maybe they need my feedback?

I love it! It's fun to zoom and lounge on.

Always Excitable,
Latte

P.S. The human says I'm hard to photograph when I zoom. :)) She also apologizes for the poor lighting and odd perspectives ... she was trying not to create shadows, and I don't love the clicky picture thingy when it gets closer. It's scary.
(I got hay after the photoshoot ... so it didn't hide the pretty piggy and liner.)

For those who are curious, it's just fleece sewn together, turned, and then finished with two rows of quilting, one near the edge and one towards the center. It does not have an absorptive layer in the middle; there are towels underneath. The cage set up is newsprint, folded towel (because I make a single layer towel turn into a magic flying carpet), and then my new fleece on top. Lexa has a single layer towel with a hand towel under one half. Our towels are made to size from bath sheets. It's nice that our towels are different sizes, since that way we always get our own back. The human said she's going to make our liners different patterns for the same reason. I heard there's a sock monkey print fleece and a purple fleece in addition to my latte fleece.

It looks amazing and I am in love with that fleece!
Well done - I hope the set up works for you and the piggies.

This one is a little bit big, so it runs up the front and back a bit more than intended (the back visible in the pictures is fine ... the front runs up a bit more, so it gets played with and folded back more), so the next one will probably be a touch smaller. We'll have to see if there's an shrinkage during washing before we make too many, though. The fleece, of course, was washed ... just not as a liner with seams and all.

So the humans were talking about my fleece, and apparently they have a 60"x10.5" (152cm x 26.5cm) "remnant." I don't know what a "remnant" is, but it sounds like they have extra fleece to make me more stuff! What should I request?

Excited,
Latte
Request a hammock with a food container!

WHEEKS,

Clover and Stella

P.S. Your liner looks great!

I know! I love it! The humans are making two more! They just cut the fleece for them, which I guess is what produced this "remnant" thing.

I'm not familiar with this "hammock" thing, but I love food ... what type of food does it hold? I will have to investigate this item ...

The hammock container should be able to hold any food at all! I hope your slave will make one for you. If not, you need to report it to Thea!

Looks great! Love the fabric 👍👍. That’s just what I’m in the middle of sewing at the min! Hope it goes well for you!
