my new little rescue girl - bella!

i've had a bit of a piggy binge since joining the forum. since april i've gone from two to six, and tonight i brought home my sixth pig bella (formerly tory).

she has the most beautiful long locks and is honestly just stunning! drool i got her from layla at NEGPR. she was the second of my reserved pigs from there. i reserved her and her friend back in october, bringing her friend lily home in november but having to wait a bit longer for this lady as it turned out she was pregnant. she has since had her babies (who have since gone to a home i've been told too!) and today bella joined the rest of the herd.

she's my final pig for a while now as i feel the size of the group and the size of the hutch for them is just right. she's settled in great tonight and it's as if she's always been there. she's a shy girl and is still quite nervous but is settling in with the rest of the pig well. i'm so pleased for my lovely girl! xx

thanks guys! she's a lovely natured girl and has settled in really well. they had an introduction and bonding time yesterday afternoon and last night and there was no real aggression at all. layla said she was a very placid girl and that's so true. they've moved into the hutch this morning and it's all going really well. i'm so pleased x
