Junior Guinea Pig
After 4 years without any piggies, I recently adopted two little boys, Timothy and Sam...
I took this photo 3 days after I adopted them. Timothy is the big lilac piggy; he was about 6 months old when this photo was taken; Sam is the little ginger one, who was about 3 months old here.
The little bald patch on Timmy's nose has gone now. He had a little scab there which he scratched off. I had to treat Sam with myconozole spray for suspected ringworm - he had a scabby, bald foot - and I was a bit worried than Timothy might have a fungal infection there. So I treated Timmy's bald patch too (I didn't spray it straight onto his face - I put it on cotton wool then wiped it on the bald patch). And Sam has a lovely furry hobbit foot now, not an orc foot like had before. I also got them treated with a course of ivermectin, in case they had mites.
P.S. I'm new to the forum, I hope I put this post in the right place.
