secondly, we put them in our playroom which is our fully converted garage, it is completely insulated with double glazing but has no heating. We made them a really insulated nest box, but my husband still worried all night about them. the next day he came in cradling them in his hands saying he's moving them into our bedroom...

thirdly and this being a slight issue is they seem to be completely noctural and are so noisey ! and beng in our bedroom its waking us up - alot !

AWWW - they are beautiful! I like the name theme as well!

Guinea pigs wake up once or twice and are active during the night... Long term, it's not a good idea to have them in a bedroom.

ahhh bless :) my piggies have mad half hours at night time and this morning i was woken up by them chasing each other round and it sounded like they were throwing each other against the bars!crazy pigs

they will only be in our bedroom till it warms up for them to go into a hutch.

hey you will get used to the noise - all our 16 piggies live in our bedroom though they are not in there all at the same time, but we got used to the noise - we even have a chinchilla in our room which is even louder!

Your new piggies are cute!

thanks, we were intending to start looking in the rescues after xmas, but we went into PAH (and we always have a nosey in the adoptions area) there was a littler in there that had been handed in. we just saw Jingles markings and new she was the one we had to have. PAH wont sell any guinea on its own (and rightly so) so we picked Jingles sister too - Belle (who is equally as gorgeous but was hiding from us)

Lucy they are very cute and your bedroom is gorgeous. What a sweetie he is (your hubby)

thanks all Glenn adores them and we've just sat wiith them on our laps for the last hour, they now eat out of our hands and are much calmer !

I havent weighed them (yet) but Belle is very skinny whilst Jingle is nice and plump(ish). I'm sure in the time we have had her (4 days) she has filled out a bit as is eating loads !
