My new piggies

Pics of my new babies Nibbles and Noodles.

We don’t have space for the cube style cages so we joined two shop bought cages together with a plastic tube, they are Ferplast cavie 100 deluxe and cavie 80 deluxe. In the past i have always used wood shavings but after reading about the fleece option I am giving that a try and it seems to be working well, i use news paper, towel then fleece, I have made some little fleece mats for where they poop most so i can change them as and when i need to.

I also made some cosies but have taken them out for now because twice today they both ran into the same one and I’m sure nibbles who was at the back would have over heated or suffocated! So i need a re think on that one.
I have lost the original hay rack from the cage so am having to improvise at the moment, only problem is they are eating the box as well as the hay
