Hi all, well as promised to Wiebke here is my new quad!

The intro was planned carefully, i built a 3 x 6 cage which is a temp as you can see as its in my dining room and doesnt have coreflute lol, i aldo thought it would be safer to have them in a room that i am near constantly incase a fight did break out.
I sterilised all hideys and bowls to neutralize the scent, i bathed all four piggies in the same "just for boars" shampoo.

Added plenty of bowls/hay and pellets to the cage and put the piggies in one at a time, i didnt add hideys for a few hours as it can be a problem if a piggy chases another into an enclosed space.

The intro went very well, small amounts of bum waggling from Rajah but other than that no rumbling/chattering or any other dominance.

The quad is Rajah who is dominant and three submissive boars Ralph-Saffron,Basil nd my sick piggy Brutus.
Brutus is very skinny at the moment so just excuse that, he is now mostly recovered from his toofy issues but has only just begun to put weight on again.Seeing as he was sick i thought he would benefit by getting his friends asap, it has helped alot, he has instantly bonded with Ralph & Basil, Rajah tends to be the loner and only interacts when he feels like it, i have however caught him cuddled up with the other boys a few times.
here are the pictures

Basil & Ralph being the only original pair have remained close so I'm confident that all four will stay together x

P.S for anyone wanting to try this many boars together be aware that its very risky and pairs can fall out, i took a risk doing this and thankfully it paid off.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeek our mates are all together woooooo hooooooooooooo, well done Auntie Bonnie x)xoxoxoxo
Whee love their fleecies and mmmmmmm like the pigtures of the veggie time, it looks like fun to us!

Thanks for all those pictures! It looks like you have done a really great job with lots of space and a good choice of complementary characters.

I have a soft spot for Basil, so it's good to see him happy with his old friend Ralph Saffron and his new two friends! Brutus seems to be really happy with his company; he's a lovely boy! My favourite picture is all three junior boars squashed up in the pigloo together!

Well Auntie Bonnie whee know you should know.......so why did you do this to her eh? tsk she gonna give you squeezy hugs next time and tick you off LOL rolleyes:))

JUMP JUMP JUMP JUMP...............................brrrrrrrrrrrrr.....................JUMP JUMP JUMP................hello mummy you gonna wake up? oh dear......pleaseeee!

to be continued.........

Thanks heaps -velvet and onyx i look forward to hearing from your mummy although she will probably faint again lol

Wiebke- they have been so good although i am keeping a very good eye on them, Basil has really come out now maybe its the herd feeling.
I'm actually suprised they worked, most people say even with a trio you have to do an adult and two babies but my boys are all adult or close to it

Brutus is 2 1/2, Rajah is 18 months, Basil is 12 months and Ralph is around 11 months so I'm quite pleased with it all

I am monitoring weight loss very carefully especially Brutus, he seems to be gaining it quicker with friends which is great

Seriously guys whee have to revive her properly ok?
Bella would you like to do the button this time? WOOOOOOF me would!
woof one, woof two, woof THREE!! all together ..............PUMP PUMP PUMP PUMP............................PUMP PUMP PUMP PUMP.................o.............GULP..............oh my...........so many..........kissable ones...............handsome............cute boys................ lovely................mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

PIGGIE LIPS, TONGUE and TOOFIES ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh xoxoxoxoxoxo

Well done Bonnie! Lovely photos and quite an achievement.

What amazing pictures again Bonnie. I so look forward to seeing them. You are an inspiration. If ever I got to Australia, which don't worry the chances of that are nil, unless my numbers come up, I would definitely give your clan a visit. I love the fact that you have little herds together. I'm really impressed.

We have one rescue on here, fi. cantillon, who only pairs up adult boars.

I think that she has a very good point in that those boars are more likely to stay with each other; however, it takes lots of experience to pair them up, so it is not an option for everybody.

I have noticed that some piggies just blossom when part of a bigger group while others are more individualists and need their own space.

They're amazing! What a combination of furs, and 4 boys, how nice that they're doing well together. I especially like the last one, that's a one in a million shot!

I love the one you caught when they were popcorning hehe up in midair! :o)

Ahhh, I've been missing pics of Rajah, so lovely to see that he's part of this lovely group.

All gorgeous boys hope they stay together with minimal fuss.

Thanks all! i am pleased to report they are all still doing well, even Rajah is settling down and isnt chasing the other boys as much.
I am starting to plan my next trio or quad lol, its s much fun pairing that i want to do it again soon, just the confidence of piggies when in a herd is worth the effort xx

Congrats! they look fab together and hope that they all live happily ever after and brutus gets back to full health in no time!
