Following on from my thread in health & illness I wanted to introduce my newest editions. Their age is unknown, approx 2 but the last owners were unsure. They weren't even sure if they were girls and the don't have names. They had been in their last home for a year and with a Polish family before that.
The people I got them from admitted they have never cut their nails, groomed them, held them or let them out their cage. The kids had become bored because he couldn't cuddle them.
The family weren't bad owners, just uneducated in caring for them. They were fed everyday, cleaned out twice a week and had a clean water Bottle so they weren't completely neglected. I hope I can now give them the forever home they deserve.

I need help with name suggestions too if anyone can think of any :tu:

Gorgeous babies and the long haired one must feel so much better with that matt off!

They are very lucky indeed x

I'm sure they'll appreciate all the love and attention you give them compared to their old home. :) They're adorable!

Aww they're lucky to have found you. Bet the dark haired one feels loads better without carrying that mat around! Enjoy settling in little piggies.

Wee update on the newly named Skye (grey haired) and Islay. We had a quick trip to the vets for a nail trim and teeth check. They have a clean bill of health apart from the nails which will need regular trimming in order to prevent further deformity go their toes. Islay also has a discharge from one ear so I've to monitor it for the time being.
They have gobbled up all the nuggets I mixed in with their muesli and are eagerly eating veggies & hay.
Thanks to everyone for their support xx

Congratulations on getting these little ones, they have landed firmly on their paws with you :)

Love their names,, don't forget to post lots of photos of them! Looking forward to seeing how they settle in

So I've officially given up trying to clean the cage the girls came with and its going to the tip tomorrow. The orange build up in the corner is like cement and I've found rust on all the bars under the layer of sawdust dust :vom: I'm in the process of making a c&c cage but with a shortage of grids it will be joined on to harry and lloyds meaning both pairs will be in a 5x2. I hope harry & Lloyd can forgive me as I'm downsizing them from a 6x2.5.
To get space in the piggie room Skye and Islay are having their first ever floor time in the living room. I think princess and Katie approve of the me arrivals... Nala on the other hand hasn't noticed they there

Poor girls haven't ventured out of the little cosy yet, don't think they know what to do with all the space.
They've also decided not to eat any muesli or nuggets but are eating up all the veg and hay I give them so i hope they're just filling up on that.
Can't wait to get their new home finished and see if they like it.

(Sorry for the poor quality photos, didn't want to disturb them by getting to close.
