As many of you know I took in a gorgeous old little man a few weeks ago. Pippin was a fine old age and had not had all the cuddles and care he deserved in his previous home. Upon moving in with my family pippin was very happy until he was diagnosed with URI. We cared and looked after him until he sadly passed away on my lap.

He really was a old gentle giant and we will miss him.
 
Oh, I'm so sorry - it's wonderful that you gave him love in his life, though, and he skipped across the bridge a happy piggy :)
 
It is sad that his previous owners didn't give him the love and care he needed. He waited 9 years for it and you were able to give him a few weeks of just that! He will have passed away far happier than he had ever been xx
 
I am very sorry that it was too late for you to undo the damage from his loveless, neglectful past, but you have given Pippin the love and care he deserved. He could leave carried by the wings of your love - that is a very precious gift you were able to give him!
 
Really sorry for the loss of your little lad. He knew love in his life from you and hopefully that provides you with some comfort at this sad time. Huge hugs x
