Whenever I cut my guinea pigs front nails he squeaks but I'm not cutting the quick! Also I cut it very quickly just like I do on the back nails. Could someone tell me what this means ? Anything helps! :{
Do not worry. They hate having their nails cut and it is his way of telling you that. My piggies do it too. It cannot be helped. Just give lots of cuddles afterwards.
He's just letting you know he isn't impressed! One of my pigs is a sheltie cross and she squeaks whenever I trim her fur- it obviously isn't hurting her as I'm just keeping it from trailing on the floor but she just wants me to know she is not impressed.
i was cutting my piggies nails for the first time today and mine did exactly the same. she was squeaking every time i tried to cut her front nails haha at first i thought i was hurting her then i noticed she was just disliking it :/
