hello i wrote on here a few weeks ago to say my guinea pig morris wasnt himself and just to let you know i took him to the vets and its turned out to be mange mites so he had some treatment for it and he is much better now:)) back to being a happy piggie:(|)
 
Wonderful news! You must be so happy! Thank you for letting us know. often we give advice and never hear of the outcome!
 
I was going to post the same sort of thread about my Gilly. He just had his 3rd (and last) treatment of xeno 450 for mange mites and he's pretty much completely recovered.

Very little dandruff now, just the odd few bits and now normal 'malting' hair loss just like the other piggies - no more skin attached and big clumps.
 
PHEW! that is a huge relief, whee do worry about our little ones!
