My Piggie Teeth Are Okay :)

Hey! I've posted a thread before some days about my guinea pig black teeth! I've just wanted to let you know what happened. I was feeding my piggie two kinds of hay, timothy and the other ohe the lady was feeding him before I adopt him (I was doing it because I thought it would be good , cause he was used to it). The vet told me to stop giving him this hay, and just give him timothy. I did it, and now I can see (after two days I think) that his teeth are not black anymore, they're still a little bit brown, but they're gonna be white in some days. Thanks everyone for your advices at my first post! x
 
Great news, just keep a really good eye on them.
 
That's really good news! What hay were you feeding him to make his teeth go black?
 
If it looks like its burnt it explains a lot. I've never heard of it either! Maybe its only available in Greece? Best avoided in the future!

Maybe its available only in Greece, but It's not from Greece, I think the language is in German. It looks like this it's more brown than green. Its even worse than the photo

Oh well don't be giving it again. If that's what it does to teeth what is it doing to insides?

Insides teeth were a little bit brown, not to much, now they're just white. Also his poop smell a little bit, only if you touch them and put them near your nose, I know that's nasty, but I am doing this with gloves,cause I am checking him all the time
 
The pronunciation of Hay in Dutch Makes me smirk Hooi!

The German on that packet is the line with Heu. Basically they all say “hay with herbs...and carrot”
