Well dearie me!
This morning while cleaning out their cage, I got out the indoor pen to put the boys in, lifted everything out the cage, the log bridge, the food bowl, the willow balls, etc etc and was thinking where on earth is the hay tube? Got the cage all cleaned out, everything back in still couldn't find it so thought ok I must've chucked it or something and forgotten I'll get them a new tube of hay.
Just sitting just now at the computer and see the new hay tube I put in and 1 hay tube in John's pigloo!

He has also somehow managed to get carrot tops in his pigloo without coming out more than a nose length.
I never realised he was SUCH a lazy piggie til now :D ;D :D ;D
Now he can sit in his pigloo cosied up on the fleece blanket and eat without having to move an inch!

And Bob...OMG! I knew he was eating a lot last week but weighed him last night and he's went from either 400g or 450g (can't remember which it was) to just under 600g!
 
Ahhh bless - Mine are like that too - I put some frshly cooked sweetcorn and peas out and they just grab a bit each time and run back to their pigloos ;D

How did you not see the tube though if you was cleaning it out ? ?
 
Cause I didn't clean out the pigloo at the same time....I did the vetbed, food, hay.

You cook the sweetcorn why ? it takes all the goodness out of it. You do not need to cook the veg any of it :)
 
Only sometimes as my mum buys fresh fruit and veg but then she also buys my piggys the frozen ones too so i have to cook them ones but which ones should i get ?
 
The frozen ones don't need to be cooked, just thawed out, will be just as good as fresh that way

Ewww didnt no this - Frozen ones cant be cooked ? :o Does thawed out mean just left out for a bit ?
 
So you can give pigs frozen veg? Really? I didn't know that!

If we can do that it would make life a little easier on prices and shelf life of products! :)
 
Its better to give the stuff thats not been frozen I would never of dreamed of giving them veg out the freezer thawed out :o
