Hi my girls, eat everything. . they think when i put shredded paper in for extra soakage, mmmhh spaghetti... i read somewhere recently on a guinea pig website under food recommendations.. little bread!
what funny things do your guinea pigs eat or what guilty pleasures do you give them?
Mine seem to eat everything too and lots of it,cucumber is there thing at the moment,they just cant get enough of it,mr piggles use to go mad for tomatoes but now its cucumber, the two babies love cucumber also.
All three piggies are very young at 14wks and 8 wks so there still growing which maybe why all they want to do is eat eat eat! They do play,and play chase,they do snuggle,but cucumber s there thing!
Although i have caught them nibbling on paper and the paper pellets that i use for there litter trays as well as certain areas of there nest areas that i know they pee especially at night,
I did catch mr piggles eating abit of plastic bag! So had to quickly pick him up and get it out of his mouth,he dropped it tho in his nest!
But i think they do eat anything given half a chance! I think guinea pig means little pig which is correct as there are little eating machines bless them
