My piggies' first time on grass!

My garden has finally grown and the weather is nice enough to be able to put my piggies out on the grass! Yaaaaay!

Junior went first, and he was a very intrepid explorer...

((For the record, the cosie was only out for a little while whilst we cleaned the bottom bit of the hutch.))

Before she went on the grass, Bernadette had a haircut!

And made the most of it when she got to explore!

However Treacle... wasn't too keen on going for a wander...

They look like they're having fun in the sun. Make sure you give them plenty of shade ( if it's very hot a wet towel draped over one end of the run acts like an air conditioner) and keep the water bottle shaded, no one likes warm water on a hot day! Treacle is a cutiepig! They were only out for about 20 minutes each, whilst we cleaned out the hutches but hopefully they'll get a little more time before we move - to somewhere with no garden, again!
My OH has even offered to grow some grass for them, what a sweetie

Treacle was chooken leg queen yesterday, at one point we nearly got a double but we couldn't get close enough for a photo. She was happily running round until Bernadette came into the run, then all she wanted to do was cuddle they have a very sweet friendship x)
