I have three Guinea Pigs, two sows (Gladys and Marjorie) and a neutered boar (Cornelius)

I have always used bedmax as their bedding but recently I bought some vetbed off ebay to try and see if I prefer it. Today I cleaned them out and introduced the new bedding and some new fleece items.

I do have enough vetbed so that I have another piece to put in when one needs washed :)

So far they seem really happy with their new toys.

Lovely guinea pigs (I like their names too!) They look as though they're enjoying their new bedding and the fleecy things!

I went in this morning and brushed up all the poops and bits of hay that they have spread throughout the cage. I think the Vet Bed makes the cage seem bigger and the piggies are able to eat their food without getting bits of bedding as well :)

They adore their fleece beds, especially the pigtop. I think I need to get a few more :)
 
They are all so beautiful :love: Love the colour of the vetbed.

Is it still keeping well?
 
Yes it is, I have cleaned them out twice since I started using it and it is so easy and quick to do! :)

I do find I need to sweep up poop and hay a couple times a day but I don't mind.

I bought them a new bed and it arrived today, which was great as it's clean out day

Marjorie has given her approval ;)

They look like they approve of having all that lovely soft bedding and beds!

The mutlicolour cosy cave looks like Elmer the Elephant, from stories I used to read as a kid.

That's so interesting! I might have to get one for Poldark and Sage.... do you have a link for where you got it from? x
 
Lovely photos :) They look very chilled out :)

I have VetBed for part of my piggies' cage and I agree, it's good stuff. A little bulky in the washing machine but good all the same :) x
