I have recently adopted two adorable 18 month old girls, and I've decided to make a diary of my journey with them
On about the 13th March, I decided to look for a new rabbit, but I stumbled across this advert for two guinea pigs free to a good home instead!
This is the picture that I first saw of them, on the facebook pet page. I brought them into their new home on the 15th March 2014
This is Nutmeg (left) and Truffles (right) about a week after I got them.
~2 weeks 4 days~
So far, I have got my piggies to eat out of my hand and act almost normally when I'm around. However, I can't touch them although they don't mind my hand being close to them. They seem to love the camera and they are such photogenic piggies

, so I'm just back on talking and feeding basis. Which I don't really mind because they're ever so cute! I think I shall continue this until they start getting into their routine, then I will try the touching again. Not too soon though, I don't want to freak them out!

, I think I shall forever be a Guineagirlie

But I'm working on her!
Btw x
