At the moment I've got two more piggies, but just for a week. They belong to a friend of mine who takes care of my piggies when I'm away (if ever again ... I hope next year I'll get to see the ocean again somewhere).
The last time Simon stayed with me, his companion Sana was still alive. Sadly my friend lost Sana about 2 weeks ago. It started with problems with the molars but took a turn for the worst in just 2 days. Sana was just a little over 3 years old.
Simon and Sana were a really close and loving couple. So when she passed away, it was hard to predict how Simon would get along without her.
So my friend brought a new girl home. She was supposed to be calm and friendly. On the first day everything worked out really well between the two of them.
But on the second day the girl turned really nasty and Simon started to be afraid of her. On the following days things didn't improve, so my friend had to return the girl and introduced Simon to another one.
This girl Sunny moved in just 2 days before they came to stay with me. She is really nice and sweet but Simon is still traumatized by the other girl and has developed a really loud shriek to keep Sunny away. But since Sunny isn't used to humans and is quite scared of everything she likes to cuddle up to him. She is not really impressed by his squeaks.
Fortunately things are improving.
The day after tomorrow they are going home again.
We are not going to miss Simon's screams, but apart from this they are sweet house guests.

Sunny on the left and Simon half hidden behind the water bottle.
