can anyone give me advice on water bottles, daddy pig insists on throwing it to the floor thing is his hutch is staked on the rabbit hutch to wen it hits the floor it breaks, anyone know where i can get them cheap or how i fix them on, the rabbits beat there's up and they never fall off, i have a rabbit using a shallow bowl atm as i didn't want to put it in the pig hutch in case he drowns, any tips ?

Thanks - I have those, they came on my hutch block, but I didn't know where to get extra ones from!

They're brilliant, no problem with bottles falling off

I used to have a problem with a pig pulling the spouts out of bottles. Lottie was a rotten one for yanking on the spout with her teeth each time she drank, she would weaken them so much over the space of a few months doing this that the spouts would just pull out with one tug. A few years back, you knew when Lottie had pulled the spout out as you'd hear the bottle drop to the floor. :))

I use elastic to keep bottle attached to the cage. Loop it through 2 bars of the cage & tie a knot in it! If you do it fairly tight you can get the bottle in, but it doesn't move easily. I have found the bottles attached to the cage with elastic stay firmly in place & I never worry about them coming off!

As far as pet expenses guineas are most affordable. Be glad you do not have a horse. Best wishes frank.

Doesn't mean guineas are cheap, though! My eight cost around £80 a month to keep them in high quality hay, pellets and fresh veg. Obviously the more pigs, the more expensive, but even keeping two stocked up with good quality stuff isn't cheap these days.
