My 2 year old Snowball, my precious little man is still un well. The poor thing his had ear mite, mild lice and ringworms, before that he had a cold since we bought our new guinea pig Cookie, so they both got treated and managed to fight it off. And now the 'cold' has came back AGAIN! His been on the best anti biotic for 7 days tomorrow and he still has a very very bad blocked nose, his been have vitamin water and Vics under his chin every night and it just won't go. Although he still has his treats, but hates the syringe! Tonight he had a not pleasant smell from around his nose? Could be the discharge? His breathing is quite noticeable too.

The vet did say there's a possibility that he may have a apsis or something on his lungs? Which is very worrying, I just hope that's not the case at all:( 8...8...8...

Poor Snowball, I would take him back to the vet as soon as possible to get him looked at again. Sending healing vibes his way x

I agree, another vet trip to investigate his breathing. The smell could be that there is an abscess and it has ruptured.

Poor Snowball, I'd make another trip to the vets too if I were you. Healing vibes from Moonpig, Yoshi, Rocket and Wallace.

Thanks for all you comments. I will take him to the vets if he seems worse later, keeping a very close eye! His still wanting all his treats too. But if a abscess has ruptured is it very serious? :...8...

Waiting until it gets worse until you go to the vet is not what I would advise, breathing problems are serious and need vet attention.

It's just not worth waiting for.......... if there's something up you need to get to the bottom of it now....... :... Please :)
