Went to clean Lottie out this morning and noticed that her eye was all red and looked very sore, so I got her out and some hay was stuck in it, we finally got it out with tweezers but it must have been sore as she squeaked!
I was thinking of going to Pets @ Home to get the eye drops they have but I thought it might get worse so I rang the vets and they fitted me in for 2pm.
He put dye in her eye to see if shes stratched it but he said all he could see was a little ucler, he's gave us eye drops and told us to come back in a weeks time to see whether it's got worse or better!
He also gave her an injection for the pain, but she didn't like it! ):

This happened to my minnie too, it was awful, her eye went all cloudy after it got pulled out, then i went into panic mode thinking she had gone blind! But i am pleased to say it healed itself within 3 days.

It's horrible!
Vet said I had done the right thing bring her there
I've gave her hay but not as much, she's still got the orchard grass in her hay rack, will she be okay with that!?

Best of luck! Hay pokes need to be seen by vet; if treated properly, they mostly heal without problems.

I wouldn't say it was the hay itself, you know that stuff that stick to you it's like from the grass seed!
I should have took a picture of it!
Hopefully when we got back next week it will be fine

My little Nala had the exact same thing, the vet gave her eye drops for a week at her check up he was super happy and she just had another week of eye drops to be on the safe side and she saw the vet yesterday and her eye is back to normal :) .. eye injurys are nasty but I'm sure it will heal well ... sending lots of love and healing to your little one ^)

I know I proberly sound stupid saying this but it seems to be healing quite well! If you seen Lottie you wouldn't notice her eye!
