My little mischeviuos floofball, Mr Rochester, has just been to the vets this week, for a UTI, and he is currently on course of antibiotics.
He is doing good, eating and drinking well, and I'm mointering him closely, but I would really like to help him put a little bit of weight back on. Is there anything I can feed him to help bulk him up a bit quickly, besides veg, hay and pellets?

Not really, you could add in syringe feed but to be honest if he is eating he will soon put it back on. Sometimes antibiotics can suppress their appetite a little so expect him to eat more when he finishes his course. Sending lots of vibes to him

Aw he's gorgeous. You could add in a bit of syringe feed if you felt he needed it, but if he's eating and drinking ok he should gain his weight again quite soon. Get well soon x

My vet says pears are good as they are fairly low in sugar - (she keeps piggies herself)

Thank you, guys :) if he is eating okay, I guess I should stop worrying so much. I think I will try that tip, @TAN and feed him some pear, I'm sure I have given him pear before, and he liked it! X
