Well, I've had the boys and girls a whole week-and-a-day now and I'm now in a position to post pigtures. You'll have to bear with me, I'm posting them as they're uploading onto photobucket so it may take a while and a few posts to put them all on (you'll be sick of the sight of them when I'm finished!)

Anyways, here it goes:

This is Dynamite, Echo's other half. He hasn't got red eyes, its just the flash causing that. I can't figure out how to put the red-eye reduction on. He's a bit of a rumbler, constantly showing Echo who's boss but a proper sweetie. He and Echo are really quite skittish but I managed to reach into the cage and give them both a stroke yesterday and they didn't flinch. Hopefully they'll soon learn I'm only there to help and love them.

This is a nervous Echo, Dynamite's lady. She has beautiful cerise eyes, but once again the flash has caused her eyes to look like that.

Hiding in the house while Dynamite checks up on her from the hidey.

Well, I'm waiting for other photos to upload so I'll post these for now. x

More pics...

Dynamite again.

Without the red eyes (and flash!)

The two of them together, a rare photo moment

AWWW - they are real cuties! You must be so proud of them. Give them time to settle in; patience now will bear rich fruit later on.

Several of my piggies have ruby eyes - eyes that look mostly dark in normal light, but have a red shine to them when you look closely and come out as brightly red in flashlight like yours.

My lot do that as well. They have a fleece tunnel and they flatten it and run over it rather than through it! Silly piggies:(|):(|)

I've been checking every day to see if you had put pics up! They're all gorgeous x)x)x)

They all look so happy Donna. Thanks for giving them such a lovely home. It is certainly a challenge taking on that many skitty rescues for your first piggies. Thanks for posting pictures.

It is a challenge but one I'm loving! At the mo I'm just doing a little handling every day, trying to not stress them but each day I'll get one out for that little bit longer to get used to me and today was Dynamite's turn

I took him upstairs to sit on my knee watching telly and had a blanket on my knee for any "accidents". He wandered to the end of the blanket, putting his bum off the edge then proceeded to wee and poo all over me and the sofa! I only knew cos my leg felt warm all of a sudden! He was also giving me a few nibbles telling me he wanted to go back downstairs. I think he was unnerved having the dogs in the room at the same time (albeit in their bed at the other side of the room) but it was lovely having that cuddle time. Tomorrow's Echo's turn. I can imagine her being VERY vocal, letting me know she's not happy about being apprehended but she does settle on my knee after a while.
