my rubran nerally ran away

Well i had rubran out for cuddles i went to out him back i had him on my knee and i was opening his cage and i jumped off my knee (which he has never done before) and ran under his cage

he had no problem getting under his cage but it was a trying to him back out

he now has a bust lip its not bleeding just a bit purple colour (he has had bust lips before many times) so he will be fine just need to keep an eye on it
he also has a but of lose skin hanging off his nose awell rolleyes

he didnt even cry and belive me he can cry when someone is hurting him (his brothers when there was younger ) and he is still smiling

That happened to me the other day, see thread Dropped Piggie, it was so scary I felt so guilty, luckily Disney wasn't hurt.

When piggies take fright and jump, there's not a lot you can do - they're often too quick! And once they hid their nok or crannie, it a real pain to get them back out if you haven't got the time to wait for them to calm down and come out for a bit of food...

I'm glad Rubran didn't have a lot of damage. It's happened to me before, and it always leaves you shaken!

One of my girls used to be a right handful to keep hold off and she's always trying to jump off the couch - you can't take your eyes off her for a second.

the frist thing i checked was his feet as rubrans mother lilly once jumped right out my hands landing funny on her foot and for six months she had me thinking she was badly hurt.
For the first few weeks it was but after that she was fine she only walked on it when i wasnt looking little and she still sits with that foot sticking out - she liked the atteation she was getting when she had a bad food thats why she kept it up lilly madam she is

also aflie rubarns big bother also jumped out of my hand once and hurt his top lip really bad he had touble eating for a week
