Hi,
I'm getting a 10x10 ft shed soon has anyone got any ideas of how i can plan it all out as i havent got a clue.
i just thought id let you know that id like a grooming section and a play section plus id like loads of hutches joined together.
I have 13 guinea pigs some have to be separated as i have 6 females 7 males.
These are some pics of my handmade 4 tier hutch which was built by my step dad for just £40 ! What a bargain, & some small cages & hutches i have for my guineas.

Are you just keeping females in there? Are you having the whole shed just for piggies?

hi males and females are going to live inside my shed as I'm sick and tired of cleaning my guineas out in the rain. yes the whole shed for my piggies ! i cant wait cause ill be in there all the time.

there is a topic called ' pictures of your shed housing pleeez' put that in search and you will find pics of a few peoples sheds on there.
I cant get the link to work sorry!

I would put the three story hutch opposite the window of the shed with another one on the sheds back wall :) The one that has glass sides should be replaced really as there will not be enough ventalation once the warmer weather comes..
I am in the process of turning our shed into a piggie shed so I can foster for the RSPCA. The rain is hampering the work :'(
Good luck I am live in Nottingham too :)

you could split it right down the middle and have to pig pens side by side and put both hutches against the back wall that way boys and girls cant get to each other and they both have a play area
good luck with the shed i keep mines in a shed but i just let them free rang so to speak and have there hutches against the walls but i don't have as many piggies as you.
hope it works well for you

its ok and thanks for all of you who replyed i have some great ideas now and when i do get my new shed, IF I CAN FIND ONE, cause ive been looking everywhere and there way overpriced , i will post piccies up when its all planned and set up

How much is your shed budget? I bet I can find you one at the right price ;) I know all the best places in Nottingham :)

oh really thanks alot
ive been looking in the ad mag as i think there the only ones who will sell for a reasonable price but i think my budget is about £200
there was one for £160 for a 10x10 but that had been sold ::)
thanks alot its for all of my piggies !
oh i just thought to llet you know one person has gave me a great idea on how i could plan out my shed and its the dividing one, thats brilliant, i can just see it all pictured out in my head, i cant wait till i get my shed and i have it all planned out cause i will then post piccies up of it on the accomodation forum, yeh :smitten:

That sounds brilliant! I can just picture it!
A shed would be an amazing piggie palace! I'd love to turn my animal room into a shed-type piggie room but then there';d be nowhere for the rats! haha

lol :) i cant wait
i could always build some extra hutches if needed or a play section as my uncles a joiner and he built me my 4 tier hutch ;D
