Hi everyone, just thought i'd make a thread about my shed which is nearly finished yay! It is 10x8 and at the moment i have the rabbit's lavender lodge in there and he has the run of the floor space, i have lino down :) my granddad finished putting boards in there for me last week so the pigs will be in their C&Cs about waist high which will be much easier for me to clean and it makes best use of the space in there. I'll have 3 C&Cs, 2 which will be 6foot by 3foot and one which i think will be a bit less at 5foot by 3foot, all with 2pigs in each. I am thinking about bonding my neutered boar and sow with two of my other sows which would be nice so i'll see how that goes! Ive just baught more grids and new correx is being delivered in the next hour so it's all looking good, i'm so excited! :D only things left to do are the electrics and painting :) i really wanted the electrics to be done by now but it's warm enough in there for them and it stays light until about 10pm here so they'll be ok for a while without it! Just had to share with everyone! I'll post pics when its done!

Forgot to say, Jay is painting some nice pictures in there for me lol! Of all the animals who live in there :) i cant wait!
 
Oh cool can't wait for piccies Emma! :) Wish I could fit my Lavender Lodge in the shed it is 4 inches too short! ::)
 
Oh gutted Louise! 4inches is nothing! I'm just uploading pics of what it looks like now before the pigs are in. My little so and so of a rabbit has given me hell these last few days with this shed! I had spare lino and polystyrene on top of his hutch underneath the board, the space is about 6inches and his hutch is high as you know from having one! Anyway i went in yesterday and he'd somehow climbed up there and eaten half the polystyrene and lino >:( :o i saw him sitting in there with his ears by the sides of his head squashed in covered in polystyrene bits lol! So you will see by the pics i haven't managed to clean it all out properly yet, need to get an extension lead with the hoover down there because the brush just isnt working ;D he's also chewed through half of one of the legs on the hutch ::) monkey!
 
Haha bless him rabbits are so funny! I have tried getting the hutch down but it won't budge the nails have rusted! Not to worry the set up is ok for now that is until I stress myself out in the winter! ;D

Thats fab, Simon looks diddy on the pic haha but we know he is a big boy! :smitten: Can't wait for it to be done, any excuse to see Ralfie! ;D x
 
I know he does look really small lol! wierd! My correx just came :D You'd be lucky to see Ralf Louise, he hasnt come out of his house 2day he's such an old man ;D i'll get one for you though! x
 
that looks really good! just a word of warning though make sure none of the food is on the floor or anything that might attract rats i was a bit careless with my dry food and let bits drop on the floor and ended up with a fmaily living in the shed next to mine and storing all my guinea pig food lol

although if your bun is on the floor then he'll probably hoover up any food :D
 
Lol thanks! Already had that problem, mice coming through the floor and robbing it from his bowl! But we put a metal base under the lino, then theres insulation etc so its been ok lately *touch wood*

We've given up for today! My OH is in work at 5 so there's no point trying to rush it all, might aswell wait until tomorrow because he's off. We've done 2 C&Cs though which is good :) x
 
Really want it finished now! Its annoying me because the pigs cages that they're in now are half falling apart because they dont have as many grids and all their stuff from the lofts are in the bottom and they really need cleaning! Oh its a mess xx0 can't wait to have it all neat!
 
simon is the twin of my evil genius mr peaches i swear.sadly my old man went over the bridge but they gould be stunt doubles

Lol! Do you have any pics? I would describe Simon as a bit of an evil genius! He was the image of his brothers except he has one blue eye and one brown and they had brown!

Pigs are moving today woo! x

Well the pigs are in! Still needs decorating lol but they're moved that's the main thing! will get pictures in a bit! x
 
Well i got some pics! I'm just uploading! What an eventful day, tried 4 of the pigs together which just didnt go well lol! I'd had enough hassle to be dealing with a shed full off chattering and aubiose flying everywhere so ended up separating until i've got more energy! Amongst the chattering i heard 2 coughs so got Ralf out to check him over. His chest was fine but i did discover a runny bum ::) so he's had diarralyte, bio-lapis and metatone tonic shoved down him along with bucket loads of grass and hay! Put the coughing down to choking on hay or something. Went back in before to take pics and heard clicking coming from a log bridge :( poor Mags' chest sounds quite bad which is so strange because she was fine yesterday. So she is going the vets in the morning, nipping this in the bud i'm not having another Ralfie situation! And after Simon growling at me this morning over the carrot he's tried to get fruity with a pringles tube ::) so i'll be booking him in for neutering while i'm there before he tries it on with me! Flaming heck what a day! Anyway apologies for the onslaught of pics about to follow! x
 
Poor Mags hope she will be ok! And Ralfie's has been great lately! Oh Simon sounds fab! Haha! Best to get him done now, little monkey! x

lol! I thought i'd cry putting them outside but now i think its nice to have an animal space! especially when ive got some furniture in there to make it feel like my den ;D
