Hi,

This is my special little piggie, Dylan, who we adopted from rescue three weeks ago.

He's got a slight head tilt caused by a minor stroke he had on Boxing Day but apart from that he's fine.

Marty :)

Bless his little furry face, though a little tilt there may be. He's gorgeous! ;D

Blimey, i thought that was the same pig!

He looks so cute, i thought he was posing at first. But then i read your post. He looks so gorgeous still.

He does look like Colin, and they are both gorgeous! You should both be proud! ;D

The resemblance is uncanny! How old is Colin? We're not sure how old Dylan is but think it's less than a year. We got him from the RSPCA Medway rescue center three weeks ago (they have a thread on the Animal Rescues Forum) and although it's taken him a few weeks to adapt he's doing really well. His head tilt doesn't seem to bother him too much, although I have seen him bump in to his stick house occasionally. We were very happy to see him popcorning around in his cage for the first time last weekend. :)

My wife and I have two other piggies who we adopted from another rescue centre last September, they are a bonded father and son called Blaze & Scampy and Dylan seems quite happy chatting to them between cages. We're hoping that at some point in the future we may be able to integrate the three of them at play time only but, as Dylan was apparently badly bullied when he was young (he has quite a large lump taken out of one of his ears), we're not going to rush it.

We'd love to be able to adopt more piggies but we just haven't got the room, we made a special effort to fit an extra cage in to accommodate Dylan (sacrificing part of our Dining area to do so).

He definitely is my special little piggie :)

Yes he is special :-* :-*
I've heard that the tilt can eventually get a little better so am crossing paws that this will be the case for him :-*
That's lovely that you rescued him he's obviously found a lovely forever home now :-*

Am I horrible for thinking that that head tilt is absolutely adorable? o_o;

I think it's adorbale too, but I'm biased anyway :)

Glynis, somedays his tilt doesn't look as bad as on other days so we're hoping it may get better in time.

poor little piggie! :'(
you may haved saved its life! you just never know :-\
