I'm new to the forum and thought I'd introduce my girls. I adopted 3 sows from an animal shelter in March and named them Mildred (cream ridgeback), Maude (peruvian) and Enid (Abyssinian). They're about 20 months to 2 years old.

Maude didn't get on with the other two so she lived on her own for a few weeks until I managed to find her a friend. I got Ethel (8 weeks old) from a local rescue that specialises in bonding single piggies. They've been getting on swimmingly and wake me up in the middle of the night chasing each other about!

I've had my piggies for 5 months now and thought I'd post some up to date photos.

Baby Ethel is getting huge. She's not quite 5 months old and is already about 700g. She's going to be a chonker!

If you've seen my recent posts you'll know my Enid has been quite poorly and ended up at the vet with GI stasis this week but since starting on gut stimulants she's a different piggy. Eating and pooping like a champ!

Millie and Maude are my good girls who are never any bother and are just getting on with things.

aw what gorgeous girlies, good that Enid is better now x
I should have posted an update on Enid. Unfortunately her chronic disease got too bad and I had to make the decision to let her go about 4 weeks ago. After a couple of good days on the gut meds she went downhill quite fast. My poor girl had had enough. I was going to post something on Rainbow Bridge Pets but I hadn't quite worked up to it yet. We're all missing her a lot.

I’m sorry to hear that about Enid. I Hope to see more of Millie and Dodger they are gorgeous for sure!
