My lovely sweet little Margot chose to join her sister Twiglet at Rainbow Bridge today.

She was a dear little girl who came into rescue quite some time ago as the owner didn't want "one more bl**dy winter cleaning them out" !

She stayed here at LB as a permanent resident and made everyone who met her fall for her. Everyone wanted to adopt her and she was so good with the children, very calm and patient. She was a spotlessly clean piggy and always in charge of her gang of three. She would have worn an apron if she could, always very motherly.

I once introduced a neutered boar into Margot's trio but she told him exactly where to go - she had no time for men! She was the boss and that was that, she was too busy for romance.

I shall miss her terribly, and so too will her other sister Mrs Bramley. She was a great character and the pig room is very subdued tonight with her passing.

She passed away peacefully in my arms - happy and smiling to the very end.

Night night my little girl, remember mummy loves you. Look after Twiglet now and don't forget to eat your greens. x
 
Aww Louise, I am so sorry. She sounds like she was an absolute sweetheart, and a very special little girl who made a lot of pigs and humans very happy. No doubt she will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry you lost Margot, I loved your description of her...they do indeed all have unique personalities!

Have fun at the bridge with your sister Margot and make sure it is spic and span up there! x

I'm so sorry to hear the passing of little margot,she sounds so lovely.i'm sure she had a wonderfully happy 2nd chance life with you! i'm sure you will be reunited one day x
