Mallow, a neutered boar, and Rosa from The Excellent Adventure Sanctuary have been staying with me as fosters off and mostly on for nearly six months since February this year; unlike the other sanctuary piggies, they don't have any medical problems. They were due to return to the sanctuary again, but the sanctuary is currently full up. My hub surprisingly proposed that the couple could remain here forever, provided they could fit in with one of my existing groups on the piggy side of the living room.

I have managed to bond the renamed Maelog ("battle prince" ) and Rhosyn ("rose" ) with the newly widowed elderly Troop ladies over the last days. They are settling down together well now. Maelog is a very happy multiple husboar and enjoying his big new cage!

So glad they are permenant additions to your household. They are beautiful and they seem to fit in really well.

What fab news, your hubby is a very nice man :-) good luck to the new Troop :-)

that's excellent! And it reminds me, I must make George and Reese, two more TEAS foster guineas, permanent residents here. We've had them for a similar stretch of time!

this is why i don't foster - wouldn't want to give them back. Good luck with your hubby.

Battle Prince! What a fantastic name!
Very cute piglets, and how lucky they are indeed to be staying with you!

I am sure that Debbie will be delighted! ;)

Mallow was exactly that with any boar he was introduced to, but interestingly, he is a surprisingly gentle husboar and is settling in ever so well with his older ladies.
